
Steve Kowch began his career as an office boy fetching newspaper editors and reporters their coffees in the late 60’s at the age of 17 right out of high school. In 40 years Steve has reinvented himself many times over as a high profile newspaper reporter; feature writer; columnist; broadcast journalist; radio news director; chief political reporter; newspaper editor; managing editor & general manager of a national news network/wire service; program director/operations manager of two of Canada’s most important news talk radio stations and national director of the news talk format for Canada’s largest private broadcaster. His work has won numerous local, national and international awards in broadcasting and journalism. Steve has mentored some of the biggest names in Canadian broadcast journalism and talk radio today. His popular classes at The Humber School of Media Studies & Information Technology in Toronto is what prompted Steve to write this book. To share his stories and inspire more people to get into the media and stand above the crowd.
