Chris Fariello, PhD, MA, LMFT is the Director for the Institute for Sex Therapy and a Senior Staff Therapist at Council for Relationships in Philadelphia. In addition, he is the Director of Sex Therapy Training in the Thomas Jefferson University masters program in Couple and Family Therapy. Dr. Fariello received his first master's degree in Human Sexuality, Marriage and Family Life Education from New York University and his second master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. His doctorate is in Human Sexuality from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Fariello has over 20 years of experience as an educator, public speaker, writer, and therapist. He is a Certified Sex Educator and Therapist of the American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), a member of the Society of the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS), and a member (formerly on the board) of the Pennsylvania Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (PAMFT).
